After opting to field after winning the toss, their bowling unit struggled, conceding 185 runs in 20 overs. Axar Patel was the most successful bowler, claiming one wicket for 21 runs in four overs, while Khaleel Ahmed also performed well, taking one wicket for 24 runs in four overs. Mukesh Kumar, Anrich Nortje, and Kuldeep Yadav managed one wicket each. Despite their efforts, Delhi Capitals fell short in their chase of 186 runs, managing only 173 runs in 20 overs. David Warner top-scored with 49 runs off 34 balls, supported by Tristan Stubbs with an unbeaten 44 runs. Rishabh Pant contributed 28 runs, and Mitchell Marsh scored 23 runs.
