The highly anticipated match between Namibia and the Netherlands in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is just around the corner. The Namibia vs Netherlands clash is scheduled for October 18 (Tuesday) at GMHBA Stadium, South Geelong, in Victoria.
Namibia and the Netherlands have shown their mettle in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Namibia, with one win and one loss, holds the top spot in the points table with two points in the First Round Group A. Similarly, the Netherlands, with a similar record, is placed second in the group.
Namibia defeated Sri Lanka in their previous ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 game. In the match, Namibia batted first and piled up 163-7. In reply, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 108 runs. Dasun Shanaka slammed 29 runs while Bhanuka Rajapaksa 20 runs for Sri Lanka.
For NAM, Jan Frylinck and Stephan Baard hit 44 and 26, respectively. Jan Frylinck was awarded man of the match. Namibia won the match by 55 runs.
Netherlands defeated United Arab Emirates in their previous game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. In the match, the United Arab Emirates batted first and arrived with a miserable batting performance. Muhammad Waseem slammed 41 runs, while Vriitya Aravind scored 18 runs. The United Arab Emirates could score 111 runs with eight wickets.
